ABOUT ME

I teach geography because I believe that everyone must learn about their role in maintaining the fragile balances on earth. Teaching IAS is not only to facilitate passing the exam but to remember the important things when they make decisions and plans for our country. I chose IndianCivils Institute as it would give me a wider area of influence. The software is innovative and easy to use.

• HOD Social Science Bangalore International School 2006 - 2008 - Developed syllabi and curriculum for primary and middle school classes.
• HOD Geography Department, Eritrea - Conducted workshops on teaching and assessment techniques.

TIPS TO SCORE WELL

• Read the newspaper everyday and note down important events under each subject.
• Draw detailed annotated diagrams and mind maps to help remembering details.
• Do group study if possible.
• Recall the flow of the class while going through the lessons.
• Plan a realistic time table with adequate breaks.
• Try and learn with understanding – avoid rote learning.
